Sigiriya Rock Fortress | Dambulla

Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress located near the town of Dambulla and it is one of Sri Lanka's most sensational archeological heritage sites that has also been listed on the World Heritage List.

The palace complex is located on top of the central rock at an elevation of 180 meters from the surrounding plain (360 meters above mean sea level).
